Active News
Active News is our email campaign software that allows you to send personalized emails to 100 or 1000s of recipients - Active News is also built into Active Business and Active School. Active News tracks your campaigns and show you statistics on who read your email and which links were clicked on. Active News only costs 1c per recipient and supports attachments up to 5MB in size.
Site Builder
The term Site Builder refers to online software that you can use to build your own website from scratch without having to hire a web designer. Both Active Business and Active School are Site Builders in that you can sign up online, select from pre-made templates and then add in your pages and content. Site Builders rarely let you or a designer, design your own professional template.
Content Management System
The term Content Management System refers to online software that allows non technical users to update a website once is has been built and setup for you by a web designers / developer. A Content Management System is a Site Builder on steroids ie. it has more features to deal with multiple staff members and to better handle larger volumes of information. Both Active Business and Active School can be considered Content Management Systems because they allow a completely custom design, advanced page management and page editing.
